Neukölln is a neighborhood of contrasts and has enjoyed increasing popularity in recent years. While immigrant society and corner pubs still strongly characterize the neighborhood in many places, you can already see the changes very clearly in the Schillerkiez.
In the middle of the three main streets Hermannstraße, Karl-Marx-Allee and Sonnenallee, which exude a very morbid charm, is the Kindl Center for Art. And if you get the feeling to have seen everything in Neukölln, you will find with the Körnerpark and the old village center of Neukölln (then still Rixdorf) the Richardsplatz two places that you would really not expect here.
I invite you to explore this neighborhood with me and look at why Neukölln is a very special place in Berlin and especially with the contrasts is perhaps particularly representative.
The tour in Neukölln is one of my neighborhood tours.
